Labor Day

So on the way to Vermont, we passed the General Lee. I hopped out of the car and stopped traffic for a photo op.

Isaac and Natalie love each other so much. It has been exciting to see them play together and laugh and cry.

We went peach picking and donkey riding the other day. Here is Luke holding Isaac. Luke and Melissa (Sadie's dogsitter) enjoyed the blackberry bushes. Isaac had 'loads of fun'.

Eowyn Grace

Congratulations to Eowyn Grace Records. She was born in Waco, Tx raised in Marshall, Tx. Both mom and girl are doing well. The dad? Well he has made a better commitment to be the best Madden player ever, to make her proud. (Plus he has a new job and congrats to him on that).

NEW BABY

Eowyn Grace Records came into the world yesterday. I might have mispelled the name already....I hope not.
Anyway, the dad is doing fine. He seems to be in good spirits and is loving his baby girl. Oh by the way, Maren is doing fine as well.

Her cousins can't wait to see her.

August 3rd

What a look...

Isaac wants to play in the NFL someday. But first he will be the kicker for Wayne Valley. He wants to kick it straight on like the kickers of his grandpa's day.

Isaac wants to play in the NBA someday. He already has his game shorts.

Isaac likes his rocking chair, just like his great grandpa Painter. He actually climbed into this chair himself. He is taking 3-6 steps at a time, just about to start running. I think he will clear a 6 minute mile before he's 3.

Isaac's birthday

Isaac turned one year old on Monday. Grandpa Records and Grandma Dolly came and visited. They left on Monday, and Isaac was sad. But later on he was happy because he rode his first carousel. He got some cool gifts, including the baseball swing from uncle Nate.

1st Birthday Party!!

We had a grand ole party at Isaac's 1st birthday party. He loved every minute, until he cried at his cake cutting. I guess he didn't like a frozen cake from DQ. But he loved Curious George. He got excited when he saw his face on the plate.

Then at the end of the night, when we were in the living room, Isaac took 5 steps. Watch out world. He's going to walk!

Day After Wedding

Later on in the night, I took off my tux for Pooh Jammies. I liked them a lot better. More comfortable. I cant' wait for the next wedding.

LeighAnn and me hung out. After I was walked down the aisle she watched me during the ceremony.

Here is Kendra, the flower girl. During the wedding we went up to the balcony and we stole each other's snacks. Mine were better because all she has was unflavored cracker. Yuck.

I stayed up all night. I loved the wedding. Everyone looked at me and we had a great time. I loved eating the shrimp and the beefsteak. I also like drinking coke when mommy isn't looking.

Uncle Craig and Aunt Julie's Wedding

Uncle Craig is getting married tomorrow. Today was the big rehearsal and walk through. I think I did a good job for it. I love wearing my tuxedo. But tomorrow, mommy has to leave early to get her hair done and go see Julie. So Daddy has to put my tux on...oh boy..

I can't believe Uncle Craig is getting married. I feel that im' losing an uncle, but really I am gaining an aunt!
