The Best of Friends

Isaac and Ben are best friends. They go places and get in trouble like Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. You have to keep your eye out for these two, no matter where they are hiding.

They are bestest buddies, Isaac just doesn't know it yet.

Here are some photos of Ben's friends and family.

Happy New Year Benjamin

Well, we all made it home safely. Benjamin is doing great. Make sure you watch the videos in order to see how Isaac responded to his brother.

Welcome to the world

Welcome Benjamin David Records, born at 5:00 pm on 12/31/07.

Both mommy and baby are fine.

Of course, there was one person who wasn't so happy about it all...

Christmas with Teitsmas

Isaac was sad because he couldn't have Jake's bone.

Isaac got a horsey from his grandpa and grandma Teitsma. He likes to ride it and do tricks. He also likes to change his costume before he goes on the horse, like a real showman.

He also got to see Santa Claus, and he is sad because Santa isn't coming back down the street. He's gone, maybe forever.

Isaac got a teddy bear from Vermont for Christmas. He was so happy he immediately went over and laid on top of it.

Isaac spent Christmas with his mom's side of the family. Sadly, his daddy's side got stuck in a couple of nor'easters in Michigan and couldn't make the long caravan trip out.

Christmas from the Records

Isaac with his Curious George stick in his right hand and his monkey scarf over his neck. Thanks grandma and grandpa.

Isaac is opening up a book from grandma dolly and grandpa. He can't wait to see them in 3 weeks.

This was the best Christmas ever for Isaac. Well it was #2 and last year isn't much on his memory bank. He was just a little round guy who kicked all day and occasionally took a nap.

Here is Isaac with a cool truck from his cousin Eowyn and her parents. He loves putting the blocks together.

Curious George

Aunt Gretchen bought Isaac a Curious George book. But Aunt Wendi bought a monkey that makes weird noises. Isaac likes both. and finally, a clip of Mommy singing Isaac's favorite song.

Christmas with Natalie

Isaac loved his present from Natalie. It took Daddy too long to get it ready so Isaac took off to do something else.

Actually, this Christmas, Natalie is nowhere to be found. Isaac walks around the house looking for her. But we did get some Christmas presents from Natalie and her family, as they had our names for Christmas. (side note, Uncle Nathan better like his gift or we are taking it back).

December

It's been a while since we have posted. Thanksgiving and a group of students from Grace Bible College has come and gone, fall has left and winter has come, with snow falling this afternoon. We are excited for a new addition soon and for Christmas as well.

Halloween

On Halloween, an innocent blue eyed baby was transformed into a monster, Frankenstein. He crossed his fingers that he would create havoc and destruction, but fortunately, his master trapped him in a cage. We could not show you the picture in case the Department of Social Services caught us. We don't want anyone messing with Frankenstein!

A Barrel of Laughs

well, without a barrel...

who bought him this outfit???

1) Howard Dean

2) Hillary Clinton with her $5000 for each new baby

(but she wants military cuts $)

3) Ben and Jerry

4) Natalie

First Haircut

Isaac was awaken from his afternoon nap for a haircut. Daddy just got his haircut, and now it was time for a trim for Isaac. He doesn't look happy because of the rude awakening. But later on, he began to like the thought of a new trim. Actually I gave him pretzels.

But he does look sharp.

Isaac loves Sesame Street

Isaac loves Sesame Street, especially when Elmo goes over the weather. He loves it when Elmo gets blasted by the wind or snow.

as we all do....
