Puerto Rico

I finally got some pictures of our trip to Puerto Rico. We got a lot accomplished and really enjoyed our time together. It was really neat to see God working in our group and to see the relationships that were strengthened.

Welcome back to the blog, my fellow readers. Since the last time we met, my brother turned another year, my mom turned another year, Benjamin's "uncle" Benny came and visited, Daddy went to Puerto Rico with a crew from the church to work on a construction site at the grace camp, and mommy got her hair cut. (Oh yeah, some guy wearing #4 retired)

Everyone is doing fine. There will be more pictures coming up.

Little Ben

Here is little Benji. He is becoming such a happy baby. He is the cutest little boy. Here you go grandma dolly!

The Pacifier

Mommy was busy doing what mommies do and she heard some crying. She walked in to Isaac and Benjamin reenacting the movie The Pacifier.

Isaac: "buh, doo-doo, ahh-doo, ahh, buh, doo-doo?" (moves in on Benjamin and climbs on him)

(repeat 5x)

Benjamin: soft audible cries

Isaac squeezes Benjamin's left hand and squeezes two fingers tightly.

Mommy quick grabs a camera.

Fox and the Hound

Benjamin reminds us of a certain baby Simpson.

Someday, all those golden curls will be a bald spot.

Here are a few pictures leftover from the grandparents visit. Grandpa and Isaac had their masks on. Grandpa thought it was funny. Isaac loves his grandpa and grandma. I think he thought that grandpa was the man in the yellow hat from Curious George.

Grandpa and Grandma came to town...

Grandparents are sure happy to see their grandchildren. Isaac was very happy to see his grandpa and grandma from far away. After the initial withdrawal from hand holding with grandma, he warmed up to them both.

Benjamin thinks grandpa only wears some type of yellow.
Isaac said he's right.

Grandpa took Isaac on a long walk. Isaac came home and was so tired. Don't worry about the pale cheeks, he warmed up later.

Isaac loves the Cowboys. Actually, he thought it was about real cowboys with guns and horses and masks. Oh well. At least he got it really dirty.

There are some people who would never let their kid wear "other teams" gear. Personally, I could care less, he doesn't know the difference between Packers and Cowboys.
