Time Flies By

A lot has happened since we last posted. Mainly "someone who is pregnant and forgetful" put the base, cord, and wires in a spot that was well hidden. I think she would like to blame Isaac, but not so. But regardless we found it today, and after a peace offering we are now able to post pictures of the talented and beautiful Isaac.

We went on a family outing to a pumpkin patch/hayride extravaganza. We had a lot of fun. Isaac got to see horses and donkeys and pick his own pumpkin. He liked it when the donkey made weird sounds..

Here is he riding his favorite toy, a 3 wheeled motorcyle from his grandpa and grandma Records.

How about those Yankees

Isaac loves the Yankees, like his grandfather Records. (we think grandpa Teitsma is a Yankee fan too)

He loves hugging this bear, it's really a metaphor for the Yankee season. Isaac brings this bear to life, Joba brought the Yankees to life.

Isaac is healthy

Isaac got a bad fever on Sunday, just hours before we were supposed to get on a plane and meet his grandparents in Florida for vacation. We praise God that Isaac is out of the hospital now. He had some great nurses and doctors (along with a few not so great, but that's ok). Here he is eating his first meal in 4 days. He lost a pound, but he looks to be shaping up well. Thank you all for your prayers.

Leftover from Vermont

So in Vermont, whenever Isaac saw a stuffed animal he would walk over to hit and hug it. Here he is in his stroller, but you see the smile.

Natalie was sleeping and missed her parents race down the mountain. Can you tell who won?

Natalie loves posing for pictures. She will be a model. Isaac would rather smile at his imaginary friends riding the ceiling fan. He loves Captain America, Spiderman, the Incredible Hulk, and Batman.

Natalie loves her big cousin Isaac (really big as you can tell from this picture) but he doesn't like the aggressive love she gives him. She caused him to cry twice yesterday after grabbing him and giving him very forceful kisses (bites?) on his body. But things were in order after he got to watch Curious George (up top)

Labor Day

So on the way to Vermont, we passed the General Lee. I hopped out of the car and stopped traffic for a photo op.

Isaac and Natalie love each other so much. It has been exciting to see them play together and laugh and cry.

Isaac loves peaches

We went peach picking and donkey riding the other day. Here is Luke holding Isaac. Luke and Melissa (Sadie's dogsitter) enjoyed the blackberry bushes. Isaac had 'loads of fun'.
