April 09

We have had a busy couple of months. Isaac is enjoying his speech therapy and it's definitely working. Benjamin is walking faster each day and enjoys his 5:30 wake up calls. Mommy: not so much. Cousin Zach and Cousin Jill came out to visit for a week. Anneliese came as well. Sorry if I misspelled it. Isaac and Benjamin loved having the baby around. I think Anneliese wondered where her brother was the whole time. Isaac and Ben are best friends.

March 09

Grandpa Records was one of the finest men anyone could ever know. He was a pastor of many years, faithful to his bride of 62 some years, and a great father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is now with the Lord, going home on Sunday afternoon.

Last night after church we watched a little bit of the wbc baseball classic. Isaac sat Elmo down in front of the TV and kept saying "Elmo, baseball." I think he thinks Elmo is his best friend and he wanted to watch baseball with him.

Spring is in the air. We are excited about the warmer weather, going on walks, and spending time in our lovely backyard. The boys are getting bigger everyday, and occasionally even loving each other.

Happy Birthday Nate

Uncle Nate's birthday was last Monday . Isaac can't count up that high, so Uncle Nate has to stay at 3. Ben was so excited he fell asleep standing up with his thumb in his mouth.

Ben started working out on the treadmill. Isaac and Ben both tried to get on it as well.

Ben Walking

He is taking a few steps each day. He isn't totally secure yet, but he does enjoy putting his hands up and his chin up and walking like Frankenstein.

Another day another dollar

The left picture was taken by Isaac himself.

We had the boys measured today. Isaac is 38 1/2 inches tall and 35 some lbs. Ben is 30 inches tall and 25 lbs. I am thinking linebacker and tight end/qb right now.

Isaac likes to help Ben out. Last week Ben was climbing up the stairs so Isaac went over and picked him up so he wouldn't go up. We have also found Ben eating some of Isaac's peanut butter sandwich that Isaac gave him. They are becoming closer each day. We thank the Lord for our wonderful boys.

Happy Birthday Ben

Happy 1st birthday to Ben and 5th anniversary to Jennifer. Our boys are doing great and it's hard to believe it's been 5 years already. God is good and He receives all the glory for our family and our health.

Happy first birthday Ben. He received his front two teeth for Christmas, and now he is working on walking. He loves to climb stairs, watch Backyardigans, and wave bye to people.
