Where have you gone Steve Rogers??

So this is how it is huh Marvel? My favorite super hero has died, the result of a sniper's bullet. There is a conspiracy, as witnesses say there were multiple shots, but officials said a single bullet dropped Captain America. Otherwise known as Steve Rogers, it's a sad day in America, a true hero has fallen. Supposedly there is a Captain America movie being made for release within 3 years.
(editor's note: I believe this was done just for $$$$, I really don't believe he will stay dead aka Superman)
Here is a shot of his earlier days fighting against evil dictators.

White Boys Can Jump

In following the tradition of Larry Legend, Zane, B Nasty, and Keith Kermicle, Isaac is learning to love the game of basketball. (His dad has no influence on him, he loves it all himself) We are trying to get him to quit hanging on the rim, but so far, no luck.
My favorite thing is when his eyes get real big as he goes up for the jam. Oh to be back at Central School in Olney on the 9 foot rims.

Aunt Maren

I was supposed to be in that chair with Aunt maren, but I kept falling out of it. So they stuck me in in here. Aunt Maren is having a baby. I can't wait. I am going to have another cousin. I hope it's a boy or a girl. I can't wait to see Aunt Maren. I love her so much

Aunt Chuggy

Aunt Gretchen.
I love my aunt chuggy. I wish she could make me cry more. I didn't mean to cry when you held me. She is nice to me and buys me nice things. I wont' tell Corey
I wish I could see Natalie more often. I miss that little feller.

Aunt Karen

I love my aunt Karen. She was my first babysitter ever. My mom and dad went to a play and I got to play with Aunt Karen. She is very nice and buys me lots of great things.

7 pictures for 7 months

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, a movie about the abolition of slavery in Great Britain in the early 1800's. It also tells the story of how John Newton, the author of Amazing Grace, influenced William Wilberforce, an influential member of Parliament.
It's a great movie showing how every person, regardless of color and race is important to God and created equal.
So why isn't this socially significant movie getting more publicity? I guess 3 reasons.
1) Denzel Washington isn't in it
2) Spike Lee didn't direct it
3) It talks about Jesus Christ as the Savior
The slave trade is a very ugly part of the world's history, and it is still going on today.
You can read more about this by following this link.
And I urge you to go see this movie, and get the word out!

guess whose birthday?

Happy Birth

day Grandma!!!

Isaac and his piano

Grandma Records bought Isaac a piano for Christmas. He loves it

Isaac does animal voices

can you guess what animals he is trying to imitate?

Happy Birthday Isaac

Isaac celebrated his 7th month birthday on Friday. He really wanted tickets to the Knicks game, but I could only get my hands on one ticket, so I went to NYC for Isaac. It was a close game, but they beat the Knicks on a bad foul call at the buzzer. I was cheering for Milwaukee to honor my hometown.

But the best thing about his birthday is the present from his Aunt Chuggy. He sure loves her a lot.

Mia and Maggie's long lost friend

So my sister has 2 cats. They are the typical cat. They like to have fun, get in trouble, eat the occassional mouse or bird, make Jennifer sneeze, and steal little Naughty's breath... but they have nothing on this cat. Count the number of toes on this cat.

Sadie and Isaac

so Isaac finally noticed Sadie. We keep Sadie away from most of the house, mainly because of her disgusting hair that sheds all over. We want to be neat and clean people. We are trying anyway.
But the other day I gave Isaac some doggy time. He loves her now. He lunges at her now.
by the way, see how strong he is?

Pictures from V Day

Grandpa and Grandma came over and gave Isaac a balloon for Vday. The last 2 pictures were taken 4 seconds apart. Seems like Isaac is like his uncle Zach, he falls asleep so quickly.
Someday he will fall asleep under the coffee table in his tuxedo

Isaac and his exersaucer

Isaac loves his new toy. It's a Valentine's Day present from his parents.
He can't jump on it though. It's not a walker.
He loves it, but it sure did tire him out.
He cant wait for his cousins Natalie and Caleb to come play.

Top 5 QB of all time

Here is the list of top 5 QB of all time.
Dan Marino, Brett Favre, John Elway, Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana
Next 10
Dan Fouts, Terry Bradshaw, Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Jim Kelly, Bart Starr, Otto Graham, Keith Kermicle.
(not in any particular order, just a grouping)
Criteria: Cannot judge a QB on super bowl victories. Football is a team game, and the playoffs are a crapshoot. Anything can happen, bad weather, turnovers, injuries...and so on.
so my criteria is on total wins, TD passes, yards, and intangibles.
Marino and Favre are over 100 TD passes more than Elway, who is 3rd all time. Marino and Favre have more completions, yards, attempts than anyone else. Elway, Marino, and Favre are all neck and neck for most victories ever. Of course, Favre should pass them by next year.
We are also very aware of Mr. Manning's pace to shatter all of Favre's records. But we will allow time to pass by to see how he does.
This is a huge topic of conversation lately with the Super Bowl and the announcement of Favre's return. Reason for post is I was upset that "professional" announcers were shrugging off Favre as being in top 5 because of his interceptions. The stats tell it all. Favre, top 5 of all time.
