Johnny Appleseed or The Scarlet Pimpernel

Here is our little thespian, who loves his "bapples." Jennifer was "busy" in the other room with Ben. She came into the kitchen to find that Isaac had climbed up on the table, helped himself to his 2nd "bapple", and was acting out the book "Johnny Appleseed." Either that or he was pretending to be the Scarlet Pimpernel.

Cuteness

The boys are growing everyday. Here are some random pictures of their cuteness. A rare moment: Benjamin sleeping.

Here is Benjamin trying to look like Colonel Sanders.
That is natural processes of saliva...

Little early to have a criminal record(s)

Why does Isaac look like he's up to no good? Why is Ben so scared he's eating a towel?
Why couldn't I find the boys and the van for a few hours yesterday afternoon?

Of course the boys want to know the story of Uncle Nathan and his car stealing days...Perhaps this is what that looked like if cameras existed in his day

Backyard

Isaac has this nice log cabin. It was given to us by a nice family in church. Their kids outgrew it and they were very happy to give it to Isaac.

We have some better pictures of this log cabin (when Wendi gives it to us). But these will be sufficient for now.

Isaac's cousin Jasmine

Jennifer's aunt, cousin and her daughter visited NJ last week. They were on the way from NC to Rhode Island for relocation. Now we can see them more. Jasmine is such a cutie. She knows a lot because she is 3.
They were watching Curious George and then Jasmine played some piano and sang.

Doesn't need any words....

Benjamin 4 months old

Ben had his 4 month old checkup yesterday. He weighs 17 lbs and is 26 inches tall. He seems to be going through a growth spurt right now as well.

Professional Pictures from January

Leighann and Wendi came over, and Wendi took some pictures of Isaac. Here are some of the censored photos.
These were taken a few months ago. These were hard to get because Isaac doesn't like to pose for the pictures like his cousins. There aren't any pictures of Benjamin from this day, he was busy eating and getting a bath. We will give Ben his new post soon.

Expelled

There are many people out there hating that Ben Stein made this new movie, Expelled. There is a website, dedicated to exposing Expelled's claims.
Here are some of my favorite claims on the website.

SCIENTISTS HAVE MADE A LOT OF PROGESS IN THE FIELD OF EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY.
ok where is all the progress?
GLAD YOU ASKED, OK. WE HAVE A NEW SPECIES OF STICK INSECT. AND SCIENTISTS HAVE STUDIED A NEW SPECIES OF MOSQUITO!!!
umm are you serious?
YES, IT'S SO EXCITING. AND IN 1971 WE SAW A NEW STRAIN OF A FRUIT FLY!!!!
are you kidding me? This is the scientific breakthrough that proves evolution?

OH YEAH, ONE MORE. WE HAVE STUDIED THIS WORM LIKE CREATURE. IT MAKES A COCCOON AND COMES OUT A WINGED CREATURE!!!! *
i think that is called a butterfly...

(this conversation actually never happened, but was imagined using the claims on the website)
*not on website

I also like how they say "don't ask us how the universe began, we don't know." They thought it was unfair for Stein to ask evolutionists how it began.

It's as if the evolutionists are saying "There is no God who created the world. We don't know how it began, but IT SURE DIDN'T BEGIN WITH ANY GOD."

The Fool says in his heart there is no God.
Evolutionary science is sure foolish.
Pity the man who thinks there is no God.

Creation

http://www.answersingenesis.org/ has some good articles about the latest movie: Expelled. I saw it this afternoon and give it 2 thumbs up. Scientists should be able to follow the facts to wherever it leads them.
My favorite part of the movie: the fact that so called scientists believe that life began on the back of crystals, or aliens seeded earth, or some civilization in some other part of the universe evolved and began earth. And yet they deny Genesis 1? Tell me what takes more faith to believe?
I also think it's funny that scientists say evolution is proven by facts. Where are all these facts? It is not facts, it is intrepretation. And the philosophy and ideology is already anti God before the facts are even investigated.
Richard Dawkins is a tragic figure. Christ died for his sins so he could be forgiven and yet he denies the very grace that God has for him. He represents many people who have the same views. Dawkins acknowledges that evolution led to his atheism. But he is still alive, he can still find Christ as his Savior. We need to pray for God to change hearts.

Vacation to Michigan

We all went out to Michigan last week. We had a great time. Isaac got to play with Natalie. Natalie got to play with Benjamin. They all missed Eowyn, who was at home waiting for someone to call to come over. Sorry Eowyn.

Expelled: the Movie

I am going to watch this movie this week. I am excited about it, as the anti-God, anti-Bible religion of human secularism and evolution has truly misled millions of people into thinking our life does not and was not made with a purpose. This movie shows the reality of scientists who disagree with Darwinism.
It is also recommended by http://www.answersingenesis.org/.

Bennie and Isaac

Isaac and Benjamin are a joy to have. They are so much fun. Sometimes, the late night and the early, early mornings are rough, but it's all worth it in the end. Here are some assorted pictures of the two. Make sure you see the video at the end.
